I enjoyed the lovely large swimming pool and the beautiful garden areas, which offered a relaxing retreat. However, the hotel did not meet my expectations for a luxury experience. The rooms felt tired and may need better attention to cleanliness and upkeep. Additionally, the breakfast was quite basic and didn’t reflect the 5-star rating, as there were limited quality options available.

Unfortunately, the surrounding area felt neglected, with visible litter and some unwelcoming aspects that raised safety concerns after dark. We enjoyed two nights in a lovely room with a terrace, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Breakfast featured fresh pastries and regional specialties that we looked forward to each morning. Pro tip, be sure to enjoy dinner at the onsite restaurant for a taste of local flavors!

The breakfast view of Etna was almost as good as the fresh coffee served by the staff, and don't get me started on those sweet pastries! Plus, the lush pool area was a chill spot after a day of exploring Catania’s local gems nearby. You gotta hit up Parco Degli Aragonesi for some beach vibes.

Request a room on a higher floor to avoid damp conditions and potentially better views than the ground floor options.

I had a lovely time during my stay, especially enjoying the spacious breakfast area with a wonderful food selection and the super comfortable bed that made relaxing after a day of exploring so nice. not to mention, you can easily stroll to Parco Degli Aragonesi in just a few minutes and the stunning Piazza Duomo is less than three kilometers away, perfect for those who love city walks and sightseeing.
